About Us

Australian Potash Limited (APC) is an ASX-listed (ASX: APC) Sulphate of Potash (SOP) developer which holds tenure across three (3) project areas in Western Australia’s north-Eastern Goldfields: the Lake Wells Sulphate of Potash project (LSOP), The Lake Wells Gold project (LWGP) (both approximately 160kms NE of Laverton) and the Laverton Downs base metals project, 5kms N of Laverton.

APC's primary focus is the development of the LSOP. The Company is targeting commencement of construction of the Project in Q3 CY20, with the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) assessment of the Project in the final Stage 3.

The findings from APC’s Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) were published on the ASX in August 2019, demonstrating the technical and economic viability of the LSOP. The DFS confirmed that the LSOP will be a long life, low capital intensity and high margin SOP producer. APC is currently progressing funding negotiations for the LSOP’s total capital requirement of circa $208m.

APC is currently securing debt facilities for the initial construction phase. The LSOP and local regional communities would benefit from access to the NAIF funding, and requests that the LSOP be included within the eligibility boundary. Wider economic benefits will also accrue to adjoining regions in central Western Australia.

The LWGP is under Joint Venture with St Barbara Mines Ltd (SBM), and the Laverton Downs project is at early stage exploration.
